Variety of blogposts that found no better category :( At least they found their home at the ‘Miscellaneous’ category and so far, these blogposts haven’t been complaining yet.

As a digital management trainee at ORMIT, I work on digital projects at BNP Paribas Fortis, Belgium’s biggest bank. This bank realises the world is changing fast and the digital revolution is a fact. As such, BNP Paribas Fortis uses the scrum framework instead of waterfall in order to quickly develop new applications. While I have not yet worked in an agile team, I did receive the chance to take the Professional Scrum Master I assessment from scrum.org. Here are my experiences while preparing for the test and some tips that may help you pass this test successfully. Continue reading Experiences and tips: Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) Assessement

I thought it would be fun to think back and list all of the smartphones I had in the past. Well… my first mobile phones can rather be categorised as ‘dumb’ phones (officially, they are called feature phones). Smartphones are part of everyday life now for most of us now and that’s largely due to the price-performance improvements of these devices. We are connected all the time and it’s the smartphone that is the enabler.

Most people set goals for a new year and… that’s it. It is just a resolution but reaching their goal seems optional. I like setting goals, but I also like to reach these goals. I was inspired by Mark Zuckerberg, who challenged himself to read a book every week of 2015.

Continue reading De visuele effecten in ‘The Avengers’
