Windows Updates can take a long time to complete. If you are in a hurry and do not want to wait for these updates to finish installing, you can let Windows skip these updates.
Press the Windows key on your keyboard  + R. This will allow you to run commands. Now paste this

shutdown -s -t 000

Click ‘OK’ and your computer should reboot without these annoying and time consuming updates!

Another method is to logout first. Then, choose the option to ‘shutdown’ (another option should be ‘shutdown and install updates’).
